You have been thinking of it a while now.... How you would tell her how you feel of her. After all this time, now that this adventure has ended... Perhaps it is a time for a new adventure, huh, Link? You smile. Yes, it is definitely time. You approach her at the eve of a sunset, where she stands beside a lake, looking dreamily at the sky. You place a hand on her shoulder and quietly ask to join her. Together, you watch as the sun sets and the stars arrise. All is quiet for a while. You are the first to speak.
" Each one of them is a wish, you know. A long time ago, a witch fell in love with a man. But witches were not allowed to speak to those of normal blood. Alas, she did not heed the warnings. She went to him and found that he too, had loved her for a long time. They were ecstatic. They were together. But, the witch council, was not happy.
They bannished the two from seeing each other, and built a wall as HIGH as the sky, to try and keep each other from seeing each other. But the witch did not want to say goodbye. Using all of her most powerfull spells, the witch cast a spell on herself. Her body turned into millions of twinkling lights that floated high above the wall. She made it to the sky and there she stayed.
And every night, the human man would be able to look into the sky and see her forever." You say to her. She looks at you, confused. " This is the very lake where they met in secret. A secret is a wish you can throw into the sky. And if it the star you wish on twinkles, your wish will come true." You close your eyes and make a wish inside your mind. When you open your eyes, she is staring at you.
"Wanna know what I wished for?" You ask. She is puzzled. She gets lost in thought, thinking very hard on the question. With a silent movement, you place your lips on hers. "I think I'll leave you guessing. But it isn't hard to figure out... that my wish has already come true."
High above you, the star you wished on twinkles~
